If you are sick of your coffee maker tasting like mud, it is time to clean your catering equipment. Here’s how to do it.
- Remove all the leftover and empty the basket of the old coffee ground and filter.
- Rinse the carafe in cold water. Fill it with one part vinegar and four parts of water.
- Pour the vinegar with water solution in the coffee maker’s reservoir and turn on the coffee maker to brew the pot. Once the brewing cycle is complete, turn of the coffee maker.
- Allow the vinegar solution to sit in the carafe for about 10 to 15 minutes.
- Rinse out the carafe by brewing water into the carafe one more time. Afterwards, turn off the coffee maker and let it cool for about 15 munutes.
- Wash the carafe filter basket with lukewarm, soapy water. Rinse well and let it dry.
Enjoy that great tasting coffee again.
